Want to play some music? Hire a Bard!

The Bard is a new trait given to hirable NPC's allowing them to play music at your request for a few coins. They are fully animated with a personality, feature a new lute instrument, and have over 40 songs for you to play, stop, skip, and queue! They can be placed anywhere you like and optionally renamed using a nametag - but remember, they cannot be moved once placed!

How do I hire a Bard?

• Visit the Gabelend Inn located in Maids Morten. There you can try out the Bard, as well as buy a hiring contract from the Tavern Wench located inside.

• Once you have the contract, go to the location you want your Bard to stand, and right click it while in-hand. The Bard will summon to the location. He cannot be moved once summoned, so if you need to move him, you will have to kill him.

How do I play music?

• Right click the Bard - it will open a GUI with 40 songs for you to choose from. Click on the song you want to play!
